Job description
Are you a Full stack Software Devleoper in the North West interested in a Perm, mostly home based role utilising your sofftware dev skills to positvely impacts the lives of thousands of vulnerable children????, As our Front-End Software Developer, you will modify the software to fix errors, adapt it to new hardware, improve performance or upgrade interfaces. You'll be knowledgeable in system testing and validation procedures as well as software programming and documentation development.
You'll work with stakeholders on technical issues including software systems design and maintenance, as well as analysing information to recommend and plan the installation of new features or modifications through testing into a live environment.
Areas of Focus
AI and data engineering projects, enabling the Head of Development to focus on architecture, planning, and long-term technical vision Own and support internal application development. React-based products Provide BAU technical support capacity, reducing the burden on the Head of Development during active project delivery phases. Reduce single-point-of-failure risk across the development function. Accelerate the delivery timeline for projects that are currently being delayed by capacity constraints
Requirements
- Working knowledge of software development methods, integration protocols & web technologies
- Hands-on experience of product configuration management, access control, and resolution of end-user issues resulting from configuration errors/conflicts
- Knowledge of the software development life-cycle and the ability to develop unit testing of code components or complete applications.
- Experience working on a variety of software development projects.
- Proficiency with fundamental front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Working knowledge of NodeJS and Reach/Reach native.
- Understanding of database technology such as MySQL/SQL.
- Working knowledge of AWS web services.
- Ability to meet project objectives within product and contract constraints.
