Senior Platform Engineer

• Senior Platform Engineer - Telford / Hybrid
• Salary up to £95,000 plus benefits
• SC cleared or SC eligible candidates required
• Own technical workstreams and help shape secure cloud platforms supporting critical public services, As a Senior Platform Engineer, you will remain hands-on while owning significant areas of platform delivery. You will lead work packages, help set technical direction and guide other engineers across complex, large-scale cloud environments.
• Design, build and improve secure AWS platform services using Terraform
• Own technical workstreams across infrastructure, containers and delivery automation
• Make architecture and design decisions within your area of expertise
• Anticipate technical risks and work with stakeholders to resolve them
• Improve Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, observability and platform reliability
• Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance across the wider team, * Senior Platform Engineer

• Strong hands-on experience in a Senior Platform, DevOps or Cloud Engineering role
• Deep commercial experience with AWS and Terraform
• Production experience with Kubernetes and Docker
• Strong Linux engineering, scripting and troubleshooting capability
• Experience designing or improving CI/CD pipelines
• Evidence of owning workstreams and influencing technical decisions
• Experience mentoring engineers and communicating with technical stakeholders

Candidates must be willing and eligible to obtain SC clearance.
