Job description

  • Provide 3rd Line and pre sales IT Support.
  • Support clients onsite.
  • Respond to system failures in a timely manner.
  • Create and maintain procedures for new and existing processes.
  • Troubleshooting customer technical faults and driving fault resolution
  • To assume a lead role in the analysis, diagnosis, escalation, execution and resolution of incidents and problems affecting the customer base.
  • Identify trends in Service Desk calls and where appropriate perform root cause analysis.
  • Client service management and relationship building.

Requirements

We are looking for a Support Engineer who has experience working in an MSP as a Support Engineer, with clients around the UK. You will be working as part of a service desk team.

The role will suit someone who has been in 2nd Line Support for several years and has a minimum experience of 2 years in L3. The ideal candidate will have a strong background, Networks, Servers, Virtualisation and Desktop. and Microsoft 365 portal and associated tasks and be keen to grow with us., The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the following key skills and experience:

  • Solid experience of 2nd Line support and currently working as L3.
  • Have experience in Router and Switch Installs.
  • Understanding of Networking principles.
  • Understanding of VOIP Telephony.
  • Have an experience in using technologies like Azure, AWS, Hyper -V in a MSP environment., * Level 2 IT Engineering: 5 years (required)
  • Level 2 IT Support Engineering: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (required)
