Your role in the team In this role, the support Engineer will diagnose Software/Hardware to a technical fix solution result. This could either be over the phone, remote or in person at the deskside. You'll cover one or more areas of expertise, assist with Upgrades & Fixes when required. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Citrix, Windows OS, Office365, Intune, Fidessa, Bloomberg, Cisco Telephony and some basic network knowledge. What will you do?
- Acting as an internal 'Technical Support Technician' for all IT Workplace related support. Working across a broad range of technologies and be able to liaises across multiple areas of the business to support incidents, problems, and requests. Responsible for answering IT requests via Tickets in Ser-viceNow, phone, email, live chat, or instant message and explaining solutions in technical and nontech-nical terms.
- Successfully supporting the business (onsite, phone and remote) with comprehensive issue resolutions.
- IT support at offsite conferences.
- Perform administrative Tasks in IT Systems
- Participate in IT Projects (e.g. Mobile Device Migration Projects)
Requirements
- Committed and client oriented, proactive in providing excellent customer Service.
- Proven experience/support with Windows Server, WIN10/7, Group Policy, Active Directory, Citrix Xe-nApp, UMS Admin, Mobile Devices (Apple), MAC support, Intune Admin, Telephony, Azure experience, printers, thin clients (HP & IGEL), desk setup, Bloomberg, Fidessa, Microsoft Office, Uniflow Print Server, IPC & Cisco Telephony.
- Knowledge of LAN, WAN and WIFI networks and technologies as well as leased lines
- Effective time management including ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize daily business as well as IT Projects.
- Flexibility for occasional weekend work and out of hours support, willingness to travel to support for Berenberg Conference(s)
