Job description

MDM Integration specialist

Day to Day Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and support Master Data Management (MDM) integration solutions across enterprise applications, data platforms, and cloud ecosystems.

Collaborate with business stakeholders, data governance teams, solution architects, and application owners to define master data integration requirements.

Implement and maintain integrations between MDM platforms and upstream/downstream systems such as ERP, Shopfloor, CRM, SCM, Data Warehouses, and Analytics platforms.

Develop and support API-based, event-driven, batch, and real-time integration solutions.

Create and maintain data mapping, transformation rules, interface specifications, and integration design documents.

Configure and support master data synchronization, data enrichment, match/merge, and survivorship processes.

Ensure adherence to data governance, data quality, security, and compliance standards across master data domains.

Troubleshoot integration issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to improve system reliability and performance.

Monitor integration jobs, APIs, message queues, and data pipelines to ensure data accuracy and timely processing.

Strong understanding of data modelling, query optimization, stored procedures, and performance tuning.

Support data migration and master data onboarding initiatives during ERP, CRM, and digital transformation programs.

Participate in integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), deployment planning, and production support activities.

Contribute to enterprise integration and MDM architecture strategies, standards, and best practices.

Requirements

Minimum 6+ years of experience in Master Data Management (MDM) applications, architecture, and implementation methodologies.

Minimum 6+ years of experience with custom built MDM framework (.Net) or Informatica MDM

Minimum 5+ years of experience with REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, OData, JSON, XML, and API security standards.

Minimum 2 years of experience in Javascript, Python

Minimum 5+ years of experience in advanced SQL skills in Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Snowflake

Strong experience in designing and implementing enterprise integration solutions.

Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience with one or more integration platforms:

XI-ION (Preferred)

Informatica IDMC/IICS

Knowledge of message-oriented middleware and event-driven integrations using Kafka, Service Bus, MQ, or similar technologies.

Experience in ETL/ELT design and development.

Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, GitHub, or similar version control and CI/CD tools.

Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and global teams.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.

Experience leading technical discussions, solution design workshops, and integration initiatives.

Nice to have:

Experience working with cloud platforms such as:

Microsoft Azure

Amazon Web Services (AWS)

Knowledge of cloud-native integration, API management, and data services.

Experience in Matillion ELT

Benefits & conditions

NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for U.S.-based positions. The starting pay range for this role is [80 - 90$ W2 range]. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
