Job description
The Managed Machine Identity Security (MMIS) Engineer provides advanced operational support for Managed Machine Identity Security Services. This role independently executes certificate lifecycle management tasks, engages with clients, and contributes to automation and service improvement initiatives.
How you'll make an impact
- Monitor and action incoming incidents from ServiceNow
- Process certificate lifecycle requests (issuance, renewal, revocation)
- Perform routine PKI maintenance and system health checks
- Participate in client meetings and manage routine client interactions independently
- Escalate complex or high-risk issues appropriately
- Maintain and update knowledgebase documentation
- Contribute to process improvement and certificate automation initiatives
- Support on-call rotation responsibilities
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in PKI or certificate management environments
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
- Experience with Windows Server and Linux/Unix environments
- Hands-on PKI experience including ADCS and CA administration
- Intermediate PowerShell scripting and OpenSSL/certtool usage
- Strong problem-solving skills in production environments
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with CLM platforms (Venafi, CyberArk, Keyfactor, DigiCert) preferred
- Exposure to Azure or AWS environments preferred
- Relevant certifications (VSA, VTIS, or similar) preferred
