Job description
Focus on providing technical support for internal and external-facing services related to the catalog as a Support Engineering Manager within Amazon's Catalog Support and Programs (CSP) team. Collaborate with a team of Support Engineers, drive operational excellence, and enhance customer experiences by improving processes and optimizing team performance. Play a key role in shaping the team's strategic direction, establishing performance metrics, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Provide guidance, mentorship, and performance management for Support Engineers. Focus on optimizing processes, improving efficiency, and ensuring high-quality solutions. Work to improve the support experience for both internal users and external customers related to the catalog. Define the team's goals, performance metrics, and long-term vision. Encourage innovation, collaboration, and growth within the team. Resolve complex technical issues and develop solutions. Develop tools and automation to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and four years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Must have three years of experience in the following skill(s): (1) leading system development teams; (2) software development or technical support experience; (3) scripting in modern program languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, C, C++ or Go; (4) troubleshooting and debugging technical systems., Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and four years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
