Backend Software Developer

We're looking for a Backend Software Developer to help us build the next generation of smart home water-saving solutions. You'll take ownership of backend infrastructure, data pipelines, and microservices that power our IoT products.

What You'll Do

• Write, test, and deploy scalable backend code
• Expand and maintain backend infrastructure and DevOps systems
• Improve data pipelines and detection algorithms for optimal product performance
• Collaborate with product, marketing, and UX/UI teams to deliver key features
• Enhance system scalability, responsiveness, and security
• Manage CI/CD pipelines and testing processes
• Support IoT device integration and VPN systems
• Participate in Agile sprints and contribute to team planning

Tech Stack Highlights

Elixir, PostgreSQL, TimescaleDB, C++, GraphQL, Flutter, AWS, MQTT, Grafana

• 6+ years in backend development and scalable systems
• 5+ years with web frameworks and platform engineering
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL and time-series data
• Proficiency in functional programming (Elixir, Erlang, Clojure, Haskell)
• Experience with OOP/procedural languages (e.g., Ruby, Python, Go, Java)
• Hands-on DevOps and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) experience
• Familiarity with AWS and cloud platform management
• Strong testing and deployment practices within Agile environments
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent

• Electrical engineering and device prototyping
