The Senior Director of Healthcare Learning & Digital Training leads enterprise-wide education, training, and digital adoption strategies for healthcare professionals creating a NEW enterprise wide insurance claims system. This role is responsible for designing and executing scalable workforce learning programs, supporting Epic EHR implementation, and optimizing clinician onboarding. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in healthcare IT, instructional design, and organizational development, ensuring that clinical staff, administrative teams, and leadership receive comprehensive training aligned with industry best practices. Key Responsibilities
- Enterprise Learning & Organizational Development
- Architect competency-based learning models to improve efficiency and workforce engagement.
- Streamline clinical onboarding by developing targeted training programs for healthcare providers and support staff.
- Oversee best-practices curriculum development, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards and healthcare metrics.
- Healthcare IT Training & Digital Adoption
- Lead Epic EHR implementation training, ensuring seamless transition and proficiency across healthcare teams.
- Manage learning management systems (LMS) selection and optimization (Cornerstone, SumTotal, LearnSoft).
- Implement digital adoption platforms (WalkMe, Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate) for real-time workflow training.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Change Management
- Partner with healthcare leadership, IT teams, and clinical specialists to drive system adoption and staff readiness.
- Develop credentialed trainer mentorship programs, scaling internal subject-matter expertise.
- Design Just-In-Time (JIT) learning solutions to improve accessibility and adoption for frontline healthcare professionals.
- Operational Leadership & Training Infrastructure
- Establish multi-site training ecosystems, ensuring accessible learning environments for healthcare staff.
- Develop performance tracking dashboards, monitoring learning effectiveness and compliance requirements.
- Optimize training cost-effectiveness, balancing resource efficiency with high-quality learning outcomes. Qualifications & Experience
Requirements
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Instructional Design, Health IT, or a related field.
- 15+ years of experience in healthcare education, learning & development, or instructional design.
- Expertise in Epic EHR training, implementation, and optimization strategies.
- Strong background in LMS administration and digital learning platforms (Cornerstone, SumTotal, WalkMe).
- Proven leadership in large-scale healthcare training operations (30,000+ staff training projects).
- Certifications in executive coaching, health IT systems, or training methodologies are a plus.
- Preferred Skills
- Strategic expertise in digital healthcare transformation and learning methodologies.
- Experience leading physician onboarding, clinical education programs, and EHR system transitions.
- Proficiency in workflow coaching, curriculum design, and real-time learning frameworks.
Benefits & conditions
Pay Range- $180,000 -$220,000 per year
