Job description
Administer classified Windows and Linux clients and servers, ensuring system reliability, security, and performance. Manage VMware vCenter environments, including virtual machine provisioning, monitoring, maintenance, and software patching. Maintain and support engineering and collaboration applications, such as TeamCenter,TeamworkCloud, and associated modules. Participate in the refinement and implementation of classified system policies and procedures. Lead property management activities, ensuring asset accountability, organization, and coordination of equipment refreshes. Respond to and resolve trouble tickets and technical issuesin a timely manner. Assist the ISSM with interpretation and implementation of NISPOM requirements on classified systems and networks at GDLS. Collaborate with the ISSM and ISSOs to create,maintain, andmodifysecurity and accreditation-related documentation. Ensure systems areoperated, maintained, and disposed ofin accordance withDoD/NISPOM requirements and relevant SSPs. Participate in classified system inspections and assessments, including Cyber Operational Readiness Assessments, Security and Vulnerability Assessments, and Assess & Authorize reviews. Serve as Lab Custodian,facilitatingclassified processing for program personnel, and reviewing visitor clearances and need-to-know requirements to make informed entrance determinations. Carry out assigned and other related duties as required, demonstrating initiative and the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
Requirements
Position requires a fixed work schedule of 10:00 AM to 7:30 PM. MUST possess and be able to maintain a U.S. Government SECRET, or higher, clearance. MUST be a United States citizen. 7-10 year minimum of experience in a system administration role. System administration experience in Military, Federal, or Industrial Security preferred. Bachelor of Science degree required. Fields of Study related to Information Technology, Computer Science, or Cyber Security preferred. Must have one of the following certifications (more advanced certificates considered): Security+ CE GSEC CySA+ CASP+ Must have very good written and verbal communication skills. Must be detail-oriented, independent and organized. Must have experience with Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Must have experience with SCAP Compliance Checker, STIG Viewer, and IAVMs. Preferred experience with certification/authorization requirements as outlined in the NISPOM, RMF for DoD IT/DIACAP, ICD 503/DCID, DJSIG/JDCSISSS, JSIG/JAFAN & NIST RMF
