Job description
We're looking for a sharp, observant professional to join our Security Operations Center (SOC). In this role, you'll be the critical link between technology, investigation, and response, protecting people, property, and operations through real-time monitoring, incident management, and loss prevention investigations. If you have a keen eye for detail and a background in Loss Prevention or investigative work, we want to hear from you. Tell us how you turn data into insight and incidents into action., * Monitor CCTV, access control, and alarm systems to detect suspicious activity or security threats
- Investigate and document loss prevention incidents, asset discrepancies, and unusual trends
- Conduct threat analysis and escalate incidents according to established procedures
- Operate, explain, and troubleshoot dispatch and monitoring software platforms (candidates must clearly describe system workflows and dispatch processes)
- Dispatch and coordinate security officers and field personnel via radio, phone, and digital communication channels
- Maintain detailed incident logs and prepare comprehensive investigative reports for management
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, emergency responders, and law enforcement as needed
- Support on-site security teams and ensure compliance with company safety protocols
- Manage confidential information and sensitive data with discretion and professionalism
Requirements
- REQUIRED: Minimum 1 year of experience in a SOC/GSOC, dispatch, command center, or central station monitoring environment
- Prior loss prevention or investigative experience strongly preferred
- Bachelor's or associate degree preferred; equivalent experience accepted
- Background in security, law enforcement, or military a plus
- Experience working in 24/7 operations or shift-based environments, * Strong investigative mindset with experience in loss prevention or incident analysis
- Demonstrated ability to operate and articulate the functions of dispatch, monitoring, and security software systems (e.g., Genetec, Oncloud, Motorola Wave, Ontic)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including clear and concise report writing
- Customer service-oriented with the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Self-starter capable of working independently and collaboratively
- Comfortable interpreting data, assessing risk, and making quick, informed decisions, * Ability to sit, stand, and monitor multiple systems for extended periods
- Occasional lifting/carrying of up to 25 lbs
- Ability to respond quickly to auditory and visual alerts
- Proficient reading, writing, and comprehension skills for instructions and reports
