Job description

Description We are looking for an IT Support Engineer to join our team in Jacksonville, Florida. In this Contract to permanent position, you will play a critical role in delivering technical assistance to end users while ensuring the smooth functioning of hardware, software, and network systems. This role requires a proactive and customer-oriented approach to resolve issues and enhance user experiences., * Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and business applications, ensuring timely issue resolution.

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot problems related to Windows/macOS operating systems, Microsoft 365, printers, and other IT systems.

  • Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, peripherals, and mobile devices for end users.

  • Manage and administer user accounts and permissions within Active Directory and Azure AD.

  • Document support cases, resolutions, and processes in the ticketing system for accurate record-keeping.

  • Handle onboarding and offboarding processes, including equipment setup and deployment for new and departing employees.

  • Apply updates, patches, and basic security measures to ensure system integrity.

  • Collaborate with senior support teams to escalate complex issues and ensure their resolution.

Requirements

  • Deliver excellent customer service by communicating technical solutions in a clear and approachable manner. Requirements * Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or service desk roles.

  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and supporting Windows environments and basic networking concepts.

  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint.

  • Familiarity with Active Directory and Azure AD for account management and access control.

  • Knowledge of ticketing systems and their application in service desk workflows.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

  • Excellent communication skills to explain technical information to non-technical users.
