We are looking for a Workday Analyst to support the configuration, testing, and ongoing maintenance of Workday Financials modules. This role works closely with Accounting, Financial Reporting, and Tax teams to help ensure accurate financial processing and smooth system operations., We are looking for a Workday Analyst to support the configuration, testing, and ongoing maintenance of Workday Financials modules. This role works closely with Accounting, Financial Reporting, and Tax teams to help ensure accurate financial processing and smooth system operations.
This position will contribute to system configuration, testing activities, and production support while participating in Agile delivery. This position is well suited for a Workday Financials professional who has solid functional experience, strong accounting knowledge, and enjoys working collaboratively in a structured delivery environment. Position is hybrid, requiring 2-3 days in the Washington DC office.
Requirements
5+ years of hands-on experience configuring Workday Financials, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Allocations, Posting Rules, and Custom Validations
. Solid understanding of core accounting principles, including journal entries, reconciliations, and subledger-to-GL posting flows
. Experience supporting end-to-end testing activities, including test case development, execution, and defect tracking
. Working knowledge of Agile delivery practices and Jira for user stories, backlog management, and sprint activities
. Ability to analyze system issues, support troubleshooting efforts, and assist with root cause analysis
. Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with finance and business stakeholders
. Comfortably producing clear documentation for configuration changes, testing results, and audit support
. Workday Financials training or certifications are a plus, but not required
Education:

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $83,800.00 - $121,200.00.
