Job description
We are looking for an HRIS Analyst to support human resources technology initiatives for a leading organization in Bloomington, Minnesota. This is a Contract position suited for a highly organized individual who can evaluate system performance, improve HR data processes, and help ensure reliable HRIS operations. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with HR systems, strong analytical ability, and the confidence to work across stakeholders to support implementation and ongoing system effectiveness.
Responsibilities:

Analyze HRIS data, workflows, and system performance to identify opportunities for improved accuracy, efficiency, and usability.

Support configuration, testing, and deployment activities for HR technology solutions, including Dayforce-related enhancements and implementation work.

Maintain the integrity of HR databases by reviewing records, resolving discrepancies, and promoting consistent data standards.

Partner with HR, payroll, and technical teams to gather requirements, translate business needs, and recommend system-based solutions.

Develop reports, dashboards, and data extracts that help stakeholders monitor workforce information and make informed decisions.

Investigate system issues, troubleshoot root causes, and coordinate resolutions to minimize disruption to HR operations.

Assist with documentation of processes, system changes, and user guidance to support adoption and compliance.

Participate in HRIS improvement initiatives, including updates, integrations, and other system-related projects as assigned.
Requirements
Requirements * 3+ years of experience working with HRIS platforms, including analysis, support, or implementation responsibilities.

Practical knowledge of Human Resources Information Systems and the ability to interpret HR data within a business environment.

Experience working with Dayforce, including system support, configuration, reporting, or implementation exposure.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate system behavior, identify issues, and recommend effective solutions.

Familiarity with HRIS databases, data validation practices, and maintaining high standards of data accuracy.

Ability to communicate clearly with cross-functional teams and translate technical concepts into practical business terms.

Proficiency in documenting requirements, testing outcomes, and operational procedures for HR system processes.
