Software Engineer in Test Onsite, Dallas, TX area

• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for complex financial applications
• Collaborate closely with development teams to identify and resolve quality issues early in the development lifecycle
• Design and implement testing frameworks for UI, API, and microservices architectures
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focusing on automation, testing methodologies, and process efficiency
• Work within Agile teams to ensure high-quality product delivery

• 10+ years of relevant experience in software testing and automation
• Proficiency in Java, Python, Karate, and/or Cucumber
• Experience testing UI frameworks such as Playwright or similar tools
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and enterprise messaging systems like Kafka or ActiveMQ
• Solid background with relational databases such as Oracle or Postgres, including PL/SQL and complex querying
• Familiarity with DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems like GitHub
• Demonstrated expertise in test automation frameworks and excellent coding skills

Nice to Have Skills:

• Knowledge of TypeScript/JavaScript
• Experience using GitHub Copilot or similar AI-assisted coding tools
• Experience with PowerBI, ETL processes, and BI reporting tools

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Over 10 years of hands-on experience in automation testing within financial or similar enterprise environments
