Job description
Skills - Genpact LLC seeks Principal Engineer - Full stack development (multiple positions) in New York, NY to provide contribution in product development, issue resolution, meeting product objectives, and best practices development. Drive the entire tech stack from low-level database operations to front end development to improve and maintain the platform. Improve the value delivered to clients by maximizing the ease and speed of software deployment. Define the system architecture, own and implement specific components, and collaborate closely with product owners and other development team members to define the scope of the product. Drive crossfunctional resource interactions to accomplish project objectives. Design and develop riskCanvas application and its module to meet unique industry requirements. Write high-quality, efficient, and testable code in Java and other object-oriented languages. Mentor other developers as required and contribute to planning, design, implementation, testing, operations, and process improvement as a member of a Scrum team. Engage in and drive development for the analytics, surveillance, and data processing within the product. Grow the business through creating groundbreaking technical solutions to maintain and grow client base. Utilize technical solutions to transform and analyze large data sets and leverage expertise in Cloud, Big Data, data storage and retrieval, methods of analysis and statistical calculation, optimization, and algorithm design and implementation. Operate in an Agile and Scrum environment and participate in the complete product development lifecycle of successfully launched applications. Build rich data-driven web applications and Micro service architecture. Utilize full stack skills in Amazon Web Services, Java, Spring Framework, Hadoop, Spark, and front end technologies like AngularJs, CSS, etc. Conduct end-to-end performance tuning. Design, implement, and enhance distributed parallel data analytics software for AML tool suite. Configure and maintain Hadoop-based platforms for Big Data parallel processes. Deploy advanced techniques of indexing, caching, estimating, etc. to improve code efficiency. Gather and sequence business and technical requirements and integrate designed data analytics into a larger software ecosystem. Analyze complex technical solutions in the AML/KYC/EDD domain and keep abreast of new methods, frameworks and languages to ensure optimal solutions. Requirements
Education - Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Sciences, Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Technology, or related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Any combination of education and experience as equivalent to a U.S. Bachelor's degree as determined by a recognized credential evaluation service is also acceptable. Foreign degree equivalents are acceptable. Position also requires 1 year of experience with AWS or Google Cloud; and 1 year of experience in developing Big Data and ETL solutions. Position headquartered in New York, NY with placement at project sites nationally within the United States with approximately 10% travel within USA required. $131,997- $138,596 per year.
