Job description
- Design and implement robust information systems for enterprise infrastructure.
- Analyze system requirements to ensure system security and seamless application integration.
- Manage diverse hardware and software infrastructure components, including virtual machine management.
- Develop essential security documentation and comprehensive network drawings.
- Resolve complex configuration and performance issues to maintain optimal system functionality.
- Provide comprehensive hands-on support, maintenance, monitoring, and optimization for infrastructure systems., * Design and implement enterprise-level information systems to support critical infrastructure.
- Perform detailed analysis of system requirements, focusing on security hardening and application integration.
- Manage and maintain hardware and software infrastructure components, including virtual environments.
- Develop security documentation and create detailed network architecture drawings.
- Diagnose and resolve complex system configuration and performance issues.
- Provide hands-on support, maintenance, monitoring, and optimization for infrastructure systems.
- Utilize Systems Engineering principles for system design and lifecycle management.
- Apply Software Development expertise for system solutions and enhancements.
- Implement and maintain System Security measures to protect information systems.
- Engage in Hardware Engineering aspects related to infrastructure components.
- Develop clear and concise Communications/Technical Writing for documentation and reports.
- Apply knowledge of Electrical Engineering principles where applicable.
- Contribute to Enterprise Architecture strategies and designs.
- Lead or participate in Full Life Cycle Software Development initiatives.
- Conduct Integration and Test (I&T) activities for new and existing systems.
- Apply Mathematics skills for analysis and problem-solving.
- Perform Requirements Analysis to define system specifications.
- Develop and implement Software Architecture for scalable solutions.
- Manage Software Configuration Management (traditional) processes.
- Utilize Web Services for integration and data exchange.
Requirements
Degree: Minimum B.S. degree in Mathematics, Engineering or Computer Science
- Years of experience: 12+ years
- Salary: $318k+ yearly compensation, pending final rate confirmation, A successful candidate will have experience in: Software Development Methodologies: Experience with both traditional and modern methodologies and practices. Object-Oriented Programming (OOP): Proficiency in modern OOP techniques using state-of-the-art tools. Full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC): Skills in planning, designing, developing, testing, installation, and maintenance of complex technical software systems. Data Processing: Ability to support complex data processing requirements within software systems. Documentation & Training: Producing technical and user documentation, as well as providing user training and system orientation. Verification & Validation (V&V): Providing independent analysis, verification, and validation of systems software.
Demonstrated experience and expertise in the following areas: Programming & Scripting Languages Java (including Java Design Patterns) JavaScript HTML CSS XPATH (specifically relative vs. absolute XPATH)
