Requirements

Kforce has a client in Mountain View, CA that is seeking a Technical Data Analyst. Summary: This role will focus on building, enhancing, and maintaining a comprehensive feature engineering pipeline that empowers analysts and data scientists to easily analyze snapshotted metrics and build machine learning models. We are seeking a talented technical data analyst who can own this process end-to-end. A good candidate should be very comfortable manipulating large datasets with pyspark in order to build efficient, incrementally loaded pipelines that are required by the scale of our data. The role also necessitates business acumen and technical scoping experience to be able to prioritize across a wide breadth of business needs. Candidates should feel comfortable with monitoring in-production data pipelines and promptly responding to issues that could impact in-production models. Lastly, candidates should be adept and passionate about teaching others in order to scale contributions to feature pipelines across the team.

  • 4+ years of experience with data modeling, e.g. as a technical analyst or data engineer
  • 2+ years of experience with pyspark for enterprise-scale solutions
    • High proficiency in object-oriented programming in python, including classes and methods
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with technical stakeholders
  • Comfort with monitoring in-production systems and debugging in high-pressure situations

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
