Job description
- Define and implement Okta architecture, including workflow enhancements, custom connectors, and integration frameworks.
- Develop role-based access policies, enforce Segregation of Duties, and design scalable IAM solutions.
- Lead upgrades, patching, optimization, and security hardening initiatives.
- Oversee SSO and provisioning integrations for complex applications.
- Build and maintain custom workflows, connectors, and integrations for IGA systems.
- Manage advanced authentication mechanisms and policies.
- Drive access certification campaigns and ensure compliance with security standards.
- Monitor IGA workflows, troubleshoot issues, and customize connectors.
- Address Okta vulnerabilities and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Provide expert support for lifecycle management, onboarding identities, and access workflows.
- Lead incident and problem management with root cause analysis for recurring issues.
- Automate repetitive tasks and optimize operational processes.
- Act as primary liaison with security, application, infrastructure teams, and external vendors.
- Resolve complex issues with vendors and coordinate architecture enhancements.
Requirements
- 8 to 10 years of experience in identity and access management with deep expertise in Okta.
- Extensive experience with Okta Identity Cloud, IGA, PAM, and advanced IAM concepts.
- Proven track record in architecture design, custom development, and security compliance.
- Strong knowledge of workflow automation, policy enforcement, and risk management.
- Ability to lead strategic initiatives, mentor teams, and manage cross-functional collaboration.

Our client seeks an Okta/IAM subject matter expert to lead identity and access management strategy, architecture, integrations, and governance. The role will design scalable solutions, enforce policies, drive compliance, and optimize operations across enterprise identity platforms.

Rate: $55.00 to $65.00/hr. w2, Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
