The City's IT Enterprise Collaboration Coordinator performs advanced professional and technical work supporting the adoption and oversees the effective use of and training on artificial intelligence (AI), digital solutions, and enterprise technologies (such as SAP, Microsoft 365, and others) across the organization. Work involves serving as a liaison with departments, providing consultation on technology initiatives, and supporting organizational change and innovation efforts. Work is performed under the direction of and reports to the Director of Information Technology., To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Supports organization-wide adoption and oversees the effective use of, and training on, artificial intelligence (AI), digital technologies, enterprise software platforms (such as SAP, Microsoft 365 and others), and automation tools.

Identifies and prioritizes high value AI and digital technology use cases across business units.

Leads cross functional AI pilots, proofs of concept, and scaled deployments.

Tracks outcomes and performance of AI and enterprise technology initiatives.

Supports responsible and ethical use of AI in accordance with City policies, transparency, standards, risk considerations, and public sector best practices.

Collaborates with City departments to understand operational needs, assess workflows, and recommend appropriate AI enabled and enterprise technology solutions.

Serves as a liaison between IT and departments to support implementation, adoption, and ongoing utilization of enterprise technologies.

Empowers departments to work effectively and collaboratively by leveraging enterprise IT tools and IT team, driving efficiency, innovation, and enhanced communication across the City.

Assists departments in integrating AI and digital solutions into day-to-day processes and municipal service delivery.

Develops, coordinates, conducts, and leads workshops, presentations, training programs, and related activities to increase awareness, understanding, and effective use of AI, Microsoft 365, and enterprise platforms (such as SAP).

Provides instruction, technical assistance, individualized support, coaching, and hands-on training to departments and users regarding technology capabilities, best practices, and effective use of enterprise applications and AI tools.

Develops and maintains user guidance materials, educational resources, and best practices related to effective use of AI and enterprise technology solutions (such as SAP and others) for a public-sector environment.

Supports change management activities related to new system rollouts, automation tools, and digital initiatives.

Researches and evaluates emerging technologies, AI platforms, automation tools, vendor solutions, and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation and organizational improvement.

Assesses technology solutions for feasibility, integration complexity, cost effectiveness, and operational impact to support informed decision making.

Supports evaluation of technology initiatives and user adoption efforts, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

Reviews, resolves, and documents assigned Helpdesk tickets in a timely manner.

Responsible for appropriate use and maintenance of City equipment, tools and other resources, including work time.

Other Duties
- Performs additional duties to support operational requirements as apparent or assigned., + May require additional hours outside of normal schedule, which may include weekends, nights, and/or holidays., + Work is performed in an office environment where there may be exposure to computer screen for extended periods of time, monitor glare and dust., Benefits cited represent those for regular 40-hour employees and may differ for Management Level, Part-Time, and/or Library positions. Long-term temporary employees are eligible for all benefits except retirement. Interns, temporary, seasonal, substitute, and relief employees are not eligible for benefits.
Requirements
Education and Experience: Candidates may qualify by demonstrating the required knowledge and skills outlined for the job through experience(s) other than formal education such as college.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, Business/Administration or a related field AND three (3) years of work experience supporting, implementing, evaluating, or training users on enterprise technologies, artificial intelligence (AI) tools, automation technologies, enterprise applications, digital solutions, or related programs.
OR
- Associate's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, Business/Administration or a related field AND five (5) years of work experience supporting, implementing, evaluating, or training users on enterprise technologies, artificial intelligence (AI) tools, automation technologies, enterprise applications, digital solutions, or related programs.
OR
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of the specific requirements listed above.
Certifications/Licenses/Other Requirements:

Valid Virginia driver's license and acceptable driving record OR must be able to provide own transportation to and from work, meetings, and related job sites.

Benefits & conditions
The preferred hiring range for this position is $80,556.13 - $94,314.54 annually, with starting pay based on applicable education, experience, and internal equity. This full-time, exempt position offers a comprehensive benefits package, health insurance with employer contribution, employer-paid life insurance, gym membership reimbursement, tuition assistance, and professional development opportunities. This position is also eligible for the following leave and retirement benefits, Sick: Under the weather? Earn 4.62 hours biweekly, approximately 120 hours a year, with no limit on accumulation to be used to care for yourself and qualifying family members.
Holidays: Enjoy 13 paid holidays per year. Including 1 Floating Holiday, which must be taken during the Fiscal Year (July 1 - June 30), Volunteer Leave: Paid leave for participating in an authorized event as a volunteer, subject to Section 9-3, Code of Ethics & Conflicts of Interest. Regular full-time employees receive up to 8 hours and all regular part-time employees are eligible to receive pro-rated leave each available each calendar year.
