Solution Engineer - Applications II

This position is responsible for successful product design of sealing solutions using knowledge of polymer, metallic and elastomer materials and applying general engineering principles.

• A strong link between the Sales, Operations, and Technical Team you belong to, bringing together simulation, materials and testing experts to solve the most advanced technical issues related to critical applications.

• Ability to solve problems and work with many diverse markets with each of their own challenges.
• Ability to work under the pressures of time constraints in a fast paced work environment.
• Sense of urgency in not only completing projects but being proactive in initiating creative thought to improve processes.-, * Bachelor's Degree, Material Science or Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or Polymer Science or equivalent (required)
• Master's degree Material Science or Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or Polymer Science or equivalent (preferred)
• 5+ years experience working in specialized Industries/Markets. Working in Manufacturing environment as well as being able to communicate with customers on technical issues (required)

• • Understand the customer application and build application expertise

• Proficient in Solidworks and/or AutoCad
• Design and Develop sealing components
• Understand engineering fundamentals and apply them to design process
• Ability to read and interpret Engineering Drawings and GD&T
• Use project management tools to lead assigned activities and projects.-

We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer prospective candidates and provide the national pay range for this position which is $81,500 to $126,500 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is up to 10% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is -$89,650 to $139,150. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.
