Job description
Kforce has a client in Houston, TX that is seeking an experienced Full Stack .Net Developer with strong expertise in building, deploying, and supporting cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience across React frontend development, .NET/C# backend services, CI/CD automation, API development, and Azure platform services. Core Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain full-stack cloud applications using React and .NET
- Translate Figma wireframes/mockups through code generation tools to accelerate development
- Design, build, and integrate scalable REST APIs
- Implement secure authentication, authorization, and service-to-service communication
- Build resilient applications with exception handling, retries, fault tolerance, and robust validation
- Design APIs with scalability and performance in mind
- Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
- Deploy and manage applications on Azure App Services and Azure Container Apps
- Manage application configurations, secrets, and certificates using Azure Key Vault
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud applications
- Participate in code reviews, automated testing, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Deploy desktop applications using Electron
Required Technical Skills:
- Frontend Development: React, JavaScript, TypeScript
- Backend Development: C#, .NET/.NET Core, ASP.NET Core, REST APIs
- Databases: Azure SQL Database, SQL Server, PostgreSQL
- Cloud Platform: Microsoft Azure
- Azure Services: Azure App Services; Azure Container Apps; Azure Blob Storage; Azure Key Vault
- Identity & Security: Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD); Authentication & Authorization
- DevOps & CI/CD: GitHub; GitHub Actions; Azure DevOps; Automated Build, Test, and Deployment Pipelines
- AI-Assisted Development: GitHub Copilot; Automated Code Generation Based on Wireframes/Mockups; Automated Code Review and Testing Tools
Requirements
- Experience with cloud-native and microservices architectures
- Knowledge of solution architecture and enterprise application design
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud modernization initiatives

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
