Job description
The IT Summer Assistant provides day-to-day support to the UMN Morris Information Technology department. This is a hands-on, entry-level role ideal for individuals with an interest in technology.
Work Environment: In-person.
This position will work in Morris, Minnesota at the University of Minnesota - Morris campus.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 10-40 hours/week
Please note, this position is not eligible for H-1B or Green Card sponsorship. This position does not offer a STEM OPT training program.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Help with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of computers and equipment
- Assist with equipment inventory, organization, and general IT department tasks
Requirements
- Need to be able to follow instructions
- Read, write and understand English
- Intermediate level of computer knowledge
