  • Support automated detection and monitoring of sensitive data, including personally identifiable information.
  • Coordinate across projects to identify conflicts, dependencies, duplicated capabilities, and opportunities for reuse.
  • Review technical approaches and provide recommendations related to architecture, scalability, platform standards, and implementation risk.
  • Partner with data governance, operations, product, and engineering teams to translate business and operational needs into practical platform solutions.
  • Work with technical and non-technical stakeholders to gather requirements and recommend improvements.
  • Identify data quality and platform issues and advise the client on options to resolve or mitigate them.
  • Develop trusted client relationships and support business development efforts, including proposals, white papers, demonstrations, and capability briefings.

Requirements

  • ACTIVE and MAINTAINED SECRET Federal or DoD security clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field.
  • THREE (3) years of hands-on experience developing data, application, workflow, automation, or platform solutions within Palantir Foundry.
  • Hands-on experience using Foundry tools such as Code Repositories, Pipeline Builder, Workshop, Slate, Machinery, Ontology, Actions, and Functions.
  • Strong engineering background with the ability to design, build, review, and improve data pipelines, user interfaces, workflows, automations, and reusable platform capabilities.
  • Understanding of platform governance practices and observability.
  • Experience supporting performance monitoring and operational tooling within Foundry.
  • Experience supporting multiple projects or applications within a shared platform environment.
  • Understanding of relational database concepts and structures.
  • Ability to assess technical solutions and recommend improvements related to reuse, scalability, and platform standards.
  • Strong programming experience using Python and SQL, with experience developing data pipelines, automations, or applications within Palantir Foundry.
  • An acute attention to detail and ability to perform robust data quality checks.
  • Ability to detect data issues affecting the performance of data pipelines and devise techniques for resolving or mitigating them.
  • Ability to support remote, hybrid, and on-site projects in the DC metro area.

What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • SIX (6) years' experience in hands-on data engineering and/or database management.
  • Strong scripting or programming experience (PySpark preferred).
  • ACTIVE or ability to gain TOP SECRET Federal or DoD security clearance.
  • Experience designing reusable enterprise platform capabilities.
  • Experience building governance, portfolio management, compliance, or operational applications in Foundry.
  • Experience developing platform monitoring, audit logging, automated data quality, or sensitive-data detection capabilities.
