Job description
Provide reliable operational support for assigned enterprise applications through monitoring, documentation, incident resolution, and change activities while developing technical and operational expertise and maintaining service quality.
- Analyze day-to-day monitoring and ensure operational support for assigned applications, maintaining stability and performance.
- Create, update, and maintain application documentation and CMDB records with accurate configuration and operational details.
- Administer and execute approved application changes, patches, and vendor updates while coordinating and documenting outcomes.
- Execute Tier 3 support and contribute to root cause analysis through data gathering and issue reproduction.
- Define security, access, exception handling, and disaster recovery requirements and support compliance activities.
- Analyze and improve monitoring and alerting, tuning thresholds and implementing basic automation or runbooks.
- Partner with BSD and business stakeholders to understand service needs and route requests.
- Perform other duties as requested.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or mining related Engineering discipline and three (3) years of experience in Engineering, System Administration or Technology Support role, including an understanding of data concepts and usage, * Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a mining-related Engineering discipline and five (5) years of experience in Engineering, Systems Administration or Technology Support role, including an understanding of data concepts and usage, * Associate's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a mining-related Engineering discipline and seven (7) years of experience in Engineering, Systems Administration or Technology Support role, including an understanding of data concepts and usage, * High School diploma or GED and nine (9) years of experience in general information technology, software troubleshooting, computer systems maintenance and application support, including an understanding of data concepts and usage
- Must be customer service-oriented with strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Skilled in effective verbal and written communication.
Benefits & conditions
The estimated annual pay range for this role is currently $97,500-$138,000. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance. More details will be shared during the hiring process.
