Job description
- Coordinate verification and qualification scope, schedule, and resources across Systems, Hardware, Software, and Test Engineering teams.
- Align integration and test activities with requirement allocations at system, subsystem, and component levels.
- Ensure each allocated requirement has a defined verification/qualification method, test case, and pass/fail criterion.
- Support end-to-end traceability between requirements, integration plans, test procedures, and test results using the program's configuration and requirements management tools.
- Coordinate integration plans with design, manufacturing, and operations teams to ensure hardware, software, and test assets are available and ready.
- Identify integration risks and dependencies and drive mitigation strategies into the test plan.
- Validate that verification, qualification, and safety test artifacts comply with internal processes, customer requirements, and relevant industry/mission standards.
- Provide verification and test evidence for certification, assurance, and customer reviews; support closure of findings and actions.
- Identify safety-driven and mission-critical requirements and ensure they are explicitly addressed in integration and test plans.
- Support safety-focused test campaigns in alignment with applicable standards and safety objectives.
Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) with 12 years of related engineering experience; OR a Master's degree in STEM with 10 years of related engineering experience

Working knowledge of Systems Engineering life cycle from concepts through production and sustainment.

Capability to clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical personnel.

Active US DoD Secret security clearance, or higher.

Familiarity with the MDA organization and its methods of technical execution and review

Experience with hypersonic weapons, and command and control technology

Experience with AEGIS weapon system

Willingness to work fast paced development programs

Ability to travel is required

Experience leading within and IPT organization as a lead or a SME

Primary Level Salary Range: $152,900.00 - $229,300.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
