What you'll do Lead design and implementation of integration microservices. Perform code reviews and mentor developers. Implement resiliency patterns (retries, circuit breakers, DLQ, idempotency). Ensure observability (traces, metrics, logs) and performance. Collaborate with the Architecture Team on blueprints and ADRs.
Requirements
We are seeking a Technical Lead to drive the technical direction of our Integration Framework (Spring Boot, Apache Camel, Jsonata), ensuring code quality, resiliency, and alignment with architecture guardrails.Lead design and implementation of integration microservices. 8+ years in Java / Spring Boot microservices. Strong understanding of EIP and messaging (RabbitMQ, Kafka, IBM MQ). Experience with Kubernetes (preferably EKS, any flavor valid). Authentication: OAuth2 and SAML (Azure AD or similar). English: B2 level or higher. Technology Stack - reference framework (applies to this role) Public Cloud: AWS preferred; Azure/GCP acceptable. Kubernetes: EKS preferred; OpenShift/AKS/other flavors acceptable. Microservices: Java 17+, Spring Boot; Apache Camel desirable. Frontend: React. (For frontend roles, Microfrontends with Module Federation.) Other languages (desirable): Python, Shell scripting, Node.js. APIs & Security: Apigee Hybrid, OAuth 2.0, SSO/SAML, REST APIs; GraphQL desirable. Asynchrony & Messaging: Events and message-driven architectures; RabbitMQ, Kafka/Confluent, IBM MQ; AsyncAPI desirable. Datastores: PostgreSQL (or any SQL), NoSQL (MongoDB, Elastic). Caching/State: Redis. Object Storage: S3 (or compatible). CI/CD & SCM: Concourse, GitHub (or equivalents). Collaboration: Confluence, Jira. AI tools (desirable): GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT.
