Job description

We are currently seeking a Windows System Engineer to join our experienced technical team. This role is essential to ensuring availability, security and efficiency of our services through the administration, optimization, and automation of Windows systems. This role is key to help maintain the high reliability and performance of our applications:

  • Ensure compliance with the defined quality criteria.

  • Ensure the use of the different automatic deployment tools in the field, and keep knowledge of process, documentation, and quality.

  • Monitoring of SLA compliance based on KPIs defined Responsabilities: As a Windows System Engineer, you will play a critical role in maintaining the reliability, performance, and scalability of our infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Administer and maintain Remote Desktop Services (RDS): session hosts, connection brokers.

  • Manage and maintain Active Directory (AD): user accounts, Group Policies (GPOs), DNS, domain controllers.

  • Administer Microsoft Azure environments: platform governance, permissions, application registrations, Application Gateways, Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD).

  • Maintain & deploy physical servers.

  • Manage System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM): software deployment, Windows updates, baseline configurations.

  • Deploy and manage virtualization environments: ESX installation in coordination with other teams.

  • Automate tasks using PowerShell: certificate management, DNS, ILO access updates, playbook creation and execution.

  • Administer Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS).

  • Participate in infrastructure improvement projects and deployments.

  • Applying security best practices and implementing robust security measures across Windows systems.

  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives focused on resource optimization, and infrastructure scalability.

  • Responding to incidents and ensuring timely resolution.

  • Monitoring system performance and service availability.

  • Providing technical support to development teams.

  • Systematically capturing and maintaining clear, comprehensive documentation of processes, procedures, and best practices to ensure consistency & knowledge sharing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or equivalent experience.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Windows systems administration.

  • Strong knowledge of RDS, AD, Azure, physical servers, SCCM, virtualization (VMware), PowerShell automation, and ADFS.

  • Experience in task automation and hybrid environment management.

  • High proficiency in Spanish and English. Desirable requirements

  • Experience with Agile methodologies. Adoption of the Scrum Master role will be highly valued.

  • Familiarity with tools such as Jira and Confluence.

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
