Job description

Lead one or more development teams of 5-7 developers using Agile practices (Kanban/Scrum) Lead the development of our web-based platforms and tools to process and analyze large amounts of data for business analytics Will be expected to continuously contribute code to systems under development Serve as mentor and coach to teammates and promote knowledge sharing and communication across product development teams Assist in migrations from legacy systems Redesign systems to fit modern cloud architectures Leverage, maintain and improve automation and pipelines (continuous integration and deployment) Collaborate closely with developers, testers, stakeholders and internal customers Advocate, contribute and ensure alignment to organizational standards and best practices Champion the appropriate use of technology and provide leadership in balancing technical elegance with functional requirements and practical benefits, as we implement and integrate technologies.

Requirements

7 or more years of increasing responsibility in technical roles, with 2 or more years of experience as a development lead in an agile environment Full project life-cycle experience - from design to successful production releases Strong knowledge of software design concepts Experience with designing modules and enterprise-grade systems Experience with a variety of design patterns and selection approaches Working knowledge of modern database concepts Drupal, Drupal theming/templating and general front-end responsive web experience Strong foundation in .NET, .NET Core and C# preferred Angular, React or other modern front-end frameworks TypeScript, HTML, CSS, Javascript Git version control SQL or any document database Testing frameworks: NUnit, xUnit AWS experience preferred Docker, Terraform, Azure DevOps is a plus Desirable skills: Fluent in English Strong, effective communication skills that bring multiple personalities and cultures together to work towards common goals Excellent business judgement, know how to prioritize, when to collaborate and when to seek assistance Seeks deep understanding of long-term business goals and strategies to ensure technological alignment Cultivates, builds, and maintains partnerships with peers in development, product technology, business, and relevant experts Passionate about managing and developing employees, goal setting, guiding career paths and growth opportunities Degrees, Certifications, and/or awards/recognition that you have achieved Project management tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, Workfront, Rally, Clarizen, Asana, etc. Flow diagramming tools such as LucidChart, Visio, etc. UX/UI mockup and prototyping tools such as Balsamiq, Sketch, PowerPoint, etc.
