Job description

  • Value Creation Analytics - Using the latest analytics and AI techniques to answer critical commercial questions. This includes pricing opportunity analysis, cost-to-serve modelling, customer and product profitability, and supply chain analytics. We turn data into decisions that directly move revenue, margin, and cash.
  • Agentic AI Process Redesign - We redesign critical finance and operational processes - Record to Report (R2R), Order to Cash (O2C), and Procure to Pay (P2P) - to be Agentic AI-first. This means reimagining how these processes run end-to-end, deploying AI agents to automate high-volume, rules-based and judgement-based tasks, ultimately driving cost out and step-change improvements in productivity.
  • CFO Office AI & Analytics - Supporting the CFO office with AI-powered business planning, forecasting, and management reporting. We help finance teams move from backward-looking reporting to forward-looking, insight-driven decision support - embedding AI into the rhythms of how the finance function operates.

We are looking for a Data &AI Director/Senior Director to join this team. You will work directly with portfolio company management teams and PE deal teams to scope, design, and deliver data and AI solutions across all three pillars. You will operate at the intersection of finance, technology, and strategy - helping organisations make better decisions faster and fundamentally rethink how their processes run.

This is a high-impact, client-facing role. You will work across multiple engagements simultaneously, often at pace and with incomplete information. The ability to structure ambiguity, communicate clearly, and deliver tangible outcomes is essential.

How you will contribute

  • Deliver value creation analytics - pricing, cost-to-serve, profitability, and supply chain analysis - that directly inform PE value creation plans
  • Design and implement Agentic AI solutions to automate and reimagine core finance processes (R2R, O2C, P2P)
  • Build AI-powered forecasting, planning, and management reporting capabilities for CFO offices
  • Build and enhance financial and operational dashboards and reporting using Power BI, Python, and SQL
  • Translate complex data insights into clear, actionable recommendations for C-suite and PE deal teams
  • Support due diligence and value creation planning with data-driven assessments
  • Lead workshops and discovery sessions with stakeholders across finance, operations, and technology
  • Help portfolio companies build internal data capabilities and governance frameworks

Requirements

  • Background: at least 12 years of experiences in this type of role

  • Pace & Ambiguity: Proven ability to operate at pace in ambiguous, fast-changing environments - comfortable being dropped into a new business and delivering from week one

  • Data & AI Toolkit: Hands-on experience with data & analytics tooling: Power BI (or equivalent BI platforms such as Tableau / Looker); Python for data analysis, automation, or machine learning; SQL and experience working with structured and semi-structured data

  • AI Acumen: Working knowledge of AI and machine learning concepts - understanding where and how AI creates business value, and ability to identify practical use cases in a commercial context

  • Financial Literacy: Solid understanding of core financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) and key financial metrics (EBITDA, working capital, revenue drivers). Comfortable navigating financial data and speaking the language of the CFO office

  • Process Understanding: Familiarity with core finance and operational processes - particularly Record to Report, Order to Cash, or Procure to Pay - and an appreciation of how these processes can be improved through technology and automation

  • Stakeholder Communication: Ability to communicate complex analytical findings to non-technical stakeholders, including C-suite executives, PE investment professionals, and board members

  • Problem Structuring: Structured problem-solving mindset - able to break down large, undefined problems into workable components and prioritise ruthlessly

  • Autonomy & Drive: Self-starter who takes ownership and delivers independently with minimal supervision
