We are looking for a Principal Cloud Platform Engineer (m/f/d) to lead the design and evolution of our cloud infrastructure, enabling engineering teams to deliver reliable, high-performance solutions at scale. This is a hands-on technical leadership role where you will influence cloud strategy, mentor engineers, and establish engineering best practices across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
Cloud Architecture: Design, implement, and continuously improve secure, scalable, and resilient cloud infrastructure supporting enterprise applications.
Platform Engineering: Develop reusable cloud services, infrastructure automation, and self-service platform capabilities that accelerate software delivery.
Infrastructure Automation: Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or equivalent technologies while standardizing cloud deployments across environments.
DevOps Leadership: Enhance CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, release processes, and operational efficiency across engineering teams.
Security and Compliance: Implement cloud security best practices, identity and access management, governance controls, vulnerability management, and compliance standards.
Performance and Reliability: Monitor platform health, optimize cloud resource utilization, improve system reliability, and lead incident response for critical infrastructure.
Technical Leadership: Mentor senior engineers, perform architecture reviews, establish engineering standards, and provide technical guidance on complex cloud initiatives.
Cross Functional Collaboration: Partner with software engineers, security specialists, product managers, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable cloud solutions aligned with organizational objectives., A collaborative engineering leader who enjoys solving complex technical problems, continuously improving platform capabilities, and mentoring others while maintaining a strong focus on reliability, security, and operational excellence.
Requirements
8+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, platform engineering, or site reliability engineering, including experience leading complex technical initiatives.
Cloud Expertise: Strong experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, including networking, compute, storage, security, and managed cloud services.
Infrastructure as Code: Advanced knowledge of Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar automation frameworks for large-scale infrastructure management.
Containers and Kubernetes: Hands-on experience designing, deploying, and managing containerized workloads using Kubernetes and Docker.
Automation Skills: Strong scripting skills using Python, Bash, or PowerShell with experience building automated operational workflows.
Monitoring and Observability: Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability platforms such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or Cloud-native monitoring services.
Communication: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
