Key Responsibilities:
Solution Architecture:
Design secure, scalable and reliable technology solutions based on client requirements, existing systems and long-term business objectives.
Technical Discovery:
Lead technical workshops to understand business processes, operational challenges, infrastructure requirements and integration needs.
Architecture Documentation:
Produce clear solution designs, system diagrams, technical specifications, decision records and implementation roadmaps.
Cloud and Infrastructure Planning:
Develop architecture for cloud, hybrid and on-premise environments using appropriate platforms, services and security controls.
Systems Integration:
Define integration approaches between enterprise applications, APIs, databases, cloud services and third-party platforms.
Technical Leadership:
Provide guidance to software engineers, cloud engineers, infrastructure specialists and delivery teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Risk and Security Management:
Identify technical risks, security concerns, performance limitations and operational dependencies before implementation.
Stakeholder Management:
Present technical recommendations to clients, senior managers and non-technical stakeholders in a clear and commercially focused manner.
Quality Assurance:
Review solution designs, technical deliverables and implementation plans to ensure they meet agreed architecture and security standards.
Requirements
At least 7 years of experience in technology architecture, cloud engineering, software engineering, infrastructure or enterprise systems, including experience in a senior technical role.
Architecture Knowledge:
Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, cloud platforms, systems integration, APIs, networking, databases, security and application delivery.
Cloud Platforms:
Practical experience with Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services or Google Cloud Platform.
Technical Documentation:
Ability to produce high-quality architecture diagrams, technical specifications, solution proposals and implementation plans.
Stakeholder Communication:
Confidence presenting complex technical concepts to clients, project teams and senior decision-makers.
Leadership:
Experience mentoring technical professionals, reviewing architecture decisions and supporting multidisciplinary delivery teams.
Qualifications:
A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related subject is preferred. Relevant professional certifications may also be considered.
