Job description

We are looking for an experienced PHP Laravel Developer to work on our cloud-based application on an initial 9 month contract.

Requirements

Our code base is varied. We are not expecting someone to have experience across our whole stack but this gives you an idea of what we use.

  • Environment: PHP, Laravel, JavaScript, React, React Native, SQL (MySQL and maria DB), AWS, Azure, Docker, Git & Git Actions, GitHub Copilot, AWS SQS, MapBox and 3D visualisation with ThreeJS and Cesium.
  • Design patterns / Important areas: Microservices, Security, Scalability, Usability, Cloud Native, Performance, CI/CD.
  • Methodologies: Agile, User Centred Design.

Who would be a good fit?:

  • A full stack engineer with PHP Laravel.
  • Someone who understands Front-end technologies.

  3. Technical chat: A 1 hour in-depth technical discussion.

You will have a chance to ask questions at each stage of the interview process.

Ultimately, our software helps keep people out of danger whilst helping our clients make smarter decisions and reduce their carbon footprint.
