Requirements
We are looking for a motivated Junior Systems Administrator who is eager to develop their career within the Building Management Systems (BMS) industry. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong IT background who wants to learn how enterprise building systems are managed, supported and continuously improved. Working within our Application Management Services (AMS) team, you will support a large-scale estate of critical building automation platforms that help keep commercial facilities operating efficiently and reliably. You'll receive mentoring from experienced engineers while developing expertise across IT infrastructure, application support, automation technologies and cloud-connected systems. No prior BMS experience is required - we're looking for someone with the right attitude and a passion for learning. WHAT YOU'LL DO

Support the day-to-day operation of enterprise BMS applications. - Monitor system health and respond to alerts and incidents. - Troubleshoot software, networking and application issues. - Assist with application deployments, upgrades and configuration changes. - Work alongside senior engineers to investigate complex technical problems. - Maintain documentation, procedures and knowledge articles. - Support automation and scripting initiatives to improve operational efficiency. - Participate in change management and release activities. - Collaborate with software developers, infrastructure teams and field engineers. - Continuously develop your technical knowledge through training and mentoring. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Essential - 1-3 years' experience in Systems Administration, IT Support or Infrastructure. - Good understanding of Windows Server administration. - Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs). - Familiarity with Active Directory and user administration. - Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. - Excellent communication skills. - Enthusiastic, proactive and keen to learn new technologies. - Ability to prioritise workload and work both independently and within a team.
