We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Onsite IT Support Engineer to join our team based in Warrington. This role is a full-time, fully onsite position requiring presence five days a week, Monday to Friday, with no remote working option. The successful candidate will be responsible for resolving hardware and laptop issues, managing user support both onsite and occasionally remotely, and handling requests for new IT equipment. A key part of the role involves building laptops, primarily Lenovo models, for new and existing users. The ideal candidate must be able to manage their workload effectively, especially during peak times, ensuring timely and efficient IT support delivery. Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks are essential to succeed in this fast-paced environment., Hardware troubleshooting and repair
- Laptop assembly and configuration (especially Lenovo)
- User support and issue resolution (onsite and occasional remote)
- IT equipment provisioning and inventory management
- Excellent organisational and workload management skills
- Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks during peak periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with IT support ticketing systems
- Basic networking knowledge
- Customer service focus
Software/Tools:
- Experience with common IT support ticketing systems
- Microsoft Windows operating systems
- Microsoft 365 suite
- Remote support tools (e.g. RDP, VPN clients)
