Job description
Working at the heart of our central data function, you'll help ensure our data is accurate, accessible and meaningful. You'll contribute to the development of a single governed semantic layer, support self-serve analytics through Power BI, and help create trusted metrics that inform commercial, operational and strategic decisions across the Group.
Working closely with colleagues across Finance, Revenue Operations and Strategy, you'll translate business requirements into trusted reporting, dashboards and metrics while enabling users to confidently explore data for themselves. You'll also play an important role in maintaining data quality, supporting governance standards, reconciling reporting against source systems, and continually improving how insight is delivered across the business.
This is far more than a reporting role. You'll help shape how analytics operates within Axiom GRC, contributing to board level reporting, improving data quality and governance, supporting a growing self-serve capability, and helping retire legacy reporting through modern, scalable solutions. You'll also have the opportunity to use emerging AI-powered analytics tools and natural language capabilities to accelerate insight delivery and improve how colleagues interact with data., Axiom is committed to creating a culture of inclusion and ensuring that everyone - candidates, clients, colleagues and anyone else we work with - is treated fairly and with respect. We continuously review our policies and processes to support equality of opportunity. If you require any adjustments during the recruitment process, please let our Talent Team know and we'll be happy to help.
Requirements
You'll bring proven experience working with modern cloud-based data and analytics platforms, with expertise in Snowflake, SQL and data modelling, alongside experience building trusted reporting and dashboards within a governed BI environment. Experience with Power BI and semantic data models would be advantageous.
You'll be confident translating business requirements into meaningful metrics and insights, particularly within Finance, Sales or Revenue Operations, while enabling business users to confidently self-serve trusted data and reporting. You'll enjoy partnering with stakeholders at all levels, balancing technical expertise with commercial understanding to deliver solutions that genuinely add value.
Experience with data quality frameworks, certified metrics, AI enabled analytics tools, Azure or Microsoft Fabric, or working within acquisitive, multi brand or private equity-backed businesses would be advantageous.
Most importantly, you'll be someone who enjoys solving problems, continuously improving ways of working and is excited by the opportunity to help shape a modern, trusted analytics capability. You'll be curious, commercially minded and motivated by the chance to influence the future of data and analytics at Axiom GRC.
