Job description

Identify parts with appropriate method as described on engineering drawing and standard operating procedures.

Update ERP system upon completion of task.

To deliver sufficient tracking function to the business to enable accurate financial reporting for the Financial Regulations and to conform with TD017.

Carry out part identification on high value components using a variety of equipment, (Automatic and Manual) with legible and accurate information.

Respect of Standard Operating Processes (SOPs) to ensure identification intent is achieved.

Ensure traceability of components is to correct standard.

Provide feedback to Finance or Team Leader on any part marking issues which could affect compliance with the Financial Regulations and TD017.

Housekeeping, Health and Safety policy compliance.
Requirements
Experience in a fast paced engineering environment, would be beneficial. Also experience using a key laser engraver would also be an advantage, although specific training will be given., * High attention to detail.
- Excellent reading and writing skills, able to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications.
- Experience of working in an Engineering Environment.
- PC literate with working knowledge of MS Excel, Word and MS Dynamics 365 - advantageous though specific system training will be provided.
- Experience of using a Keyence laser engraver would be advantageous, though specific training will be provided.
