Job description
Role: Identity and Access Management (IAM) Systems Engineer - Contract, We are seeking an Identity and Access Management (IAM) Systems Engineer to support the design, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise identity and access management solutions. This role will be responsible for ensuring secure and efficient user access across business applications, systems, and infrastructure while supporting organizational security, compliance, and operational objectives., Identity & Access Management
- Design, implement, and support enterprise IAM solutions and processes.
- Manage user identity lifecycle activities, including onboarding, transfers, role changes, and offboarding.
- Configure and maintain authentication, authorization, and access management services.
- Support the implementation and administration of access control models and security policies.
- Partner with business and technical teams to evaluate and provision appropriate user access.
Engineering & Administration
- Develop and maintain integrations between identity platforms and enterprise applications.
- Automate identity and access management processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Troubleshoot and resolve identity, authentication, and access-related issues.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, standards, and operational procedures.
- Support ongoing enhancements and modernization efforts related to identity services.
Security & Compliance
- Enforce security best practices, including least-privilege access and segregation of duties.
- Participate in audits, risk assessments, access reviews, and compliance initiatives.
- Monitor identity systems and access controls to identify and mitigate security risks.
- Assist with incident response and remediation activities involving identity and access management.
Collaboration
- Work closely with Security, Infrastructure, Application Development, and Business teams to support access management requirements.
- Provide technical consultation and guidance regarding identity architecture and access controls.
- Participate in project planning, system implementations, and operational support activities.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have experience managing identity lifecycles, authentication services, access controls, and governance processes within complex enterprise environments., * Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience supporting identity and access management, security administration, or related infrastructure functions.
- Experience with identity lifecycle management and access provisioning processes.
- Understanding of authentication, authorization, and access control concepts.
- Knowledge of directory services, identity governance, and user access management.
- Experience scripting or automating administrative tasks.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills., * Experience supporting enterprise security or compliance initiatives.
- Familiarity with cloud-based and hybrid technology environments.
- Knowledge of identity governance, privileged access management, or access certification processes.
- Experience integrating business applications with identity management solutions.
- Relevant industry certifications in security, identity management, or systems administration., * Identity Lifecycle Management
