Job description
We are looking for a Software Engineer to help build and scale the supply chain systems and Warehouse Management System (WMS) that power our cross-border commerce and logistics operations across the United States and Korea.
In this role, you will develop inventory, fulfillment, and operational systems that support end-to-end supply chain workflows, design reliable asynchronous workflows, and integrate with external sales and operational platforms. You will work closely with both U.S. and Korean teams to build logistics infrastructure and internal operational tools from the ground up.
Our engineering organization is AI-native. The codebase is governed by a documented invariant registry, architecture decision records, and an agent harness; engineers here use tools like Claude Code and Codex as their primary workflow, operating within written conventions rather than around them. You will be expected to work the same way: plan first, follow the rules of the codebase, verify what the AI produces, and keep documentation current., * AI-Native WMS Development: Build and evolve our Warehouse Management System (inventory tracking, order fulfillment, and warehouse operations used daily across U.S. logistics centers) using agentic AI tools (Claude Code, Codex) as your primary workflow, within a convention-governed codebase where you plan first and own everything the AI produces.
- External Integration & Data Synchronization: Connect external sales channels and platforms (e.g., Shopify) through webhooks and APIs, structuring asynchronous work as durable, retriable, idempotent steps (we use Inngest) to keep data in sync across systems.
- Inventory Data Integrity: Keep inventory and order data correct as the system evolves: every stock movement is transactional, idempotent, and auditable through a stock ledger, and stays reconciled with external systems. The data model is already built and documented; your job is to extend it without breaking its guarantees.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Work with U.S. and Korean teams to identify operational challenges and turn them into working software., * Every inventory mutation goes through audited core functions; the invariant registry is law, and automated hooks enforce it.
- Plans and architecture decision records come before code on anything structural. Disagreement is welcome in design discussion; silent workarounds are not.
- AI-generated code is your code: you verify it, you own its correctness, and you update the documentation in the same commit.
- We hire people who find this environment liberating, not constraining.
Why Join Us?
You will have the opportunity to directly contribute to the development of global e-commerce infrastructure, high-volume order processing systems, and warehouse management platforms connecting Korea and the United States.
As the company continues to grow rapidly, you will take on meaningful technical ownership, influence system architecture decisions, and gain hands-on experience building AI-native logistics and commerce systems.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience, including production experience with TypeScript and Node.js.
- Experience building and operating systems where data correctness is critical (inventory, payments, ledgers, bookings, or reconciliation), including hands-on work with database transactions, idempotency, and race conditions.
- Agentic AI coding tools (Claude Code, Codex, or similar) as your primary development workflow: planning, delegating, and verifying multi-step work, not autocomplete. You should be able to show production code shipped this way.
- Ability to work within a convention-governed codebase: reading and following written engineering rules, raising objections through design discussion rather than silently deviating, and documenting decisions.
- Experience integrating with external platforms (webhooks, APIs, authentication flows, rate limits, retries) while maintaining data consistency, including structuring asynchronous work as durable, idempotent, retriable steps, the model behind frameworks like Inngest.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP, OMS, fulfillment/3PL platforms, or other supply chain systems.
- Experience developing Shopify apps or integrating with e-commerce platforms.
- Experience with PostgreSQL and serverless backend platforms (e.g., Supabase, Cloud Functions).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional team environments.
- Ability to read and write technical documentation in English and/or Korean.
