Job description

Insight Global is seeking a Portuguese-speaking Data & Analytics (DNA) Subject Matter Expert for a large healthcare/medical device client to support a critical global data platform initiative focused on the Brazil market. This role will serve as the functional bridge between the DBX (D365) source system and the enterprise Snowflake data platform, ensuring that business requirements are accurately translated into technical mapping documentation. This is a remote, 6-month contract engagement with potential for extension based on business needs and performance., * This role is highly collaborative and requires close partnership with data engineers, architects, and business stakeholders. A typical day may include:

  • Source system expertise: Serving as the go-to functional expert on DBX (D365), understanding how the system captures, structures, and processes business data in the Brazil market.
  • Data mapping: Building and maintaining detailed mapping documents that translate DBX/D365 business entities and metrics into the Snowflake environment, with SAP as the anchor system.
  • Business-to-technical translation: Converting business requirements into clear, actionable technical specifications that data engineers can implement.
  • Nuance identification: Flagging system-specific differences (e.g., how DBX handles back orders vs. SAP vs. Snowflake) and guiding the team on how to reconcile those gaps.
  • Cross-functional liaison: Acting as the communication bridge between Brazilian business stakeholders (Portuguese-speaking) and the US-based data platform and engineering teams.
  • Documentation: Producing thorough mapping documents, functional specifications, and reference materials that the broader team can leverage.
  • Guidance & advisory: Advising the team on what is and is not feasible within the DBX source system, and recommending workarounds when data gaps or system limitations exist.

We are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer that believes everyone matters. • ~4+ years of functional expertise in DBX (Microsoft Dynamics 365 / D365) as a source system, with the ability to speak to how data is structured and captured
  • Ability to map DBX/D365 data into Snowflake, using SAP as the anchor system, and identify nuances between systems (e.g., how back orders are handled differently across DBX, SAP, and Snowflake).
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical mapping documentation that data engineers can implement.
  • Fluent in Portuguese and English (written and verbal).
  • General technical awareness/understanding (does not need to be hands-on, but should be able to speak the language of the data engineers they'll be guiding). - Hands-on technical experience within DBX, SAP, or Snowflake (functional-only is acceptable, but hands-on is a plus).
