- Benchmark cloud performance
- Implement resource scaling strategies
- Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues
- Develop performance metrics
- Collaborate with engineering teams
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree DEGREE (Focus) Computer Science, Information Technology, Computational Science, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Data Science, Cloud Computing, Physics, Mathematics, Software Engineering, etc. ALTERNATE EXPERIENCE General comment on degrees: Most contracts allow additional experience (4-5 years) in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree. Some contracts give 4-5 years experience credit for a Bachelor's Degree. Some contracts give 2 years experience credit for a Master's Degree. We will work with you to find the right fit., * Proficiency in parallel computing
- Cloud orchestration tools
- HPC workload scheduling
- Performance profiling tools
- Scripting for automation
- Data analysis for performance trends
DESIRED SKILLS
- Knowledge of GPU acceleration
- Familiarity with containerization (e.g., Docker, Singularity)
- Experience with hybrid cloud environments
- Proficiency in MPI or OpenMP
- Understanding of cluster management tools
- Knowledge of AI/ML workload optimization
