Job description
We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Manager to oversee the daily operations, security, and performance of our organization's technology environment. This hands-on role is responsible for maintaining the company's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, cybersecurity, cloud services, hardware, software, and user support. The ideal candidate will partner with leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure reliable technology solutions that support business operations, production, and future growth., * Provide technical support for onsite and remote users, troubleshooting hardware, software, network, and system issues while minimizing downtime.
- Manage and maintain the organization's server environment, network infrastructure, cloud services, software licensing, and other technology resources.
- Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade servers, workstations, networking equipment, and software applications.
- Monitor system performance and proactively recommend improvements to increase reliability, efficiency, and security.
- Administer and maintain network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, wireless networks, VPN connectivity, and internet services.
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity best practices, including endpoint protection, system patching, backups, disaster recovery planning, and user access management.
- Coordinate IT projects, technology upgrades, system implementations, and infrastructure improvements from planning through completion.
- Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures, and documentation to support consistent operations and compliance.
- Provide employee training on company technology, cybersecurity awareness, and IT best practices.
- Manage relationships with third-party technology vendors, software providers, and service partners.
- Maintain IT asset inventories, software licensing, and hardware lifecycle management.
- Assist in developing and managing the annual IT budget while recommending future technology investments.
- Prioritize IT initiatives based on operational requirements and business objectives.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to streamline processes and improve technology performance.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support business operations.
Requirements
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience supporting IT infrastructure, systems administration, or network administration in a business or manufacturing environment.
- Experience managing Windows server environments, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, virtualization, and cloud-based technologies.
- Working knowledge of networking concepts including routers, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless networking.
- Experience with cybersecurity principles, endpoint protection, backup solutions, disaster recovery, and patch management.
- Familiarity with hardware installation, software deployment, licensing, and asset management.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to support users at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while working independently in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Experience
- Manufacturing or industrial environment experience.
- Experience with ERP systems and production-related technology.
- Knowledge of virtualization platforms
