Job description

This role is responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining complex applications within the Financial Crimes technology domain. The software developer will design, code, test, and document programs, while also providing application support. The position involves close collaboration with business partners to define system requirements and recommend technological innovations., * Develop complex requirements for applications in Financial Crimes technology.

  • Design, code, test, debug, and document programs and support activities.
  • Collaborate with business partners to define requirements for system applications.
  • Provide insight and direction from a data perspective and assess impacts on technology systems.
  • Contribute to story refinement, define requirements, and estimate work for delivery.
  • Set up and automate continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines.
  • Handle technical application aspects, including change management, maintenance, and platform upgrades.
  • Analyze present-state, develop future-state approaches, and facilitate implementation.
  • Communicate effectively with managers, peers, and business partners on deliverables and timelines.

Requirements

Experience: A minimum of 7 years of applicable experience is required, with 10+ years being typical for this level of responsibility.

Technical Skills:

  • Java, J2EE, Spring framework, Hibernate, and MVC.
  • Web services, Maven, Jenkins, Bit Bucket, and a scheduling tool such as Autosys.
  • Angular JS for UI framework development.
  • UNIX Shell scripting.
  • Oracle 11g, SQL, and Stored Procedures.
  • Test-Driven Development (TDD) and JUnit.
  • Experience with SDLC, Agile methodologies, and CI/CD practices.
  • Data sourcing, data analysis, and modeling skills., * Expertise in designing, developing, and supporting web-based applications with J2EE architecture and Single Page Application Frameworks.
  • Ability to work effectively with remote and offshore teams.
  • Experience engaging business stakeholders for requirement discovery.
