Hardware Engineer, Electrical Design Engineer, Embedded Systems Engineer, Circuit Design Engineer, Electronics Engineer, Systems Design Engineer, FPGA Engineer, PCB Design Engineer, RF Design Engineer, Power Systems Engineer, ect. DEGREE (Level Desired) Bachelor's Degree DEGREE (Focus) Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics Engineering, Systems Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Physics, Applied Physics, Control Systems Engineering, ect. ALTERNATE EXPERIENCE General comment on degrees: Most contracts allow additional experience (4-5 years) in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree. Some contracts give 4-5 years experience credit for a Bachelor's Degree. Some contracts give 2 years experience credit for a Master's Degree. We will work with you to find the right fit. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Experience with hardware design and prototyping
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory guidelines
- Knowledge of testing and validation processes
- Ability to analyze and optimize electrical circuits
- Strong understanding of electronic components and systems
- Experience with hardware simulation and modeling tools, * Proficiency in circuit design software (e.g., Altium, Eagle)
- Strong soldering and PCB design skills
- Experience with embedded systems and microcontrollers
- Familiarity with FPGA design and implementation
- Knowledge of digital and analog circuit design
- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose hardware issues
DESIRED SKILLS
- Experience with 3D modeling software
- Familiarity with power electronics and energy systems
- Proficiency with design for manufacturability (DFM)
- Knowledge of signal integrity and RF design
- Experience with IoT hardware integration
- Familiarity with machine learning applications in hardware
