Chipton-Ross is seeking a Embedded Software Engineer (Level 5) for a contract opportunity in Kent, WA., Leads code generation for highly embedded systems Leads development of broad, open-architecture approach Works with multi-disciplinary team to rapidly prototype hardware solutions Responsible for developing code and insuring proper execution on target processors Independently performs work scope
Requirements
5+ years embedded programming experience with languages such as C, C++, Linux and/or PetaLinux Experience with hardware-software integration Embedded C++ is the top skill, Experience with and knowledge of aerospace systems and/or electrical systems Experience with CMake Highly motivated self-starter capable of executing as part of a fast-paced multi-disciplinary team, Minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+9 years' related work experience, Master+12 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard, Applicants responding to this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements by currently possessing the ability to view classified government information.
