Job description
AMP P093/ATL I&T is looking for a to join the ATL STEE Team with 5 or more years of working experience working in a mixed Linux and Windows environment. Experience should include working with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Windows Server OS and Windows 10 and 11 operating systems, and advanced knowledge of networking and network protocols. An added capability and qualification would be some knowledge of working with network hardware such as Cisco switches. The position includes supporting daily requests from the operations high bay floor, supporting SV EGSE test sets and workstations including connecting to the ATL network, managing user accounts and share drive access, providing network access to various high bay locations for floor ops, border crossing of new EGSE test sets and hardware onto the ATL network. Other tasks include the ability to travel (about 10%) and support offsite activities when required and 24x7 on-call support during critical test phases. This position requires TS/SCI Privilege User (PU).
Requirements
- Minimum of 5+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 3+ years of relevant experience with a Master's degree.
- Available to travel periodically ~10% when needed.
- Working knowledge of network protocols, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and static IP configuration, VLANs and network security.
- Working knowledge of network drive shares and the ability to manage share access
- Proficiency with all or part of the following operating systems: Windows 10, 11, Windows Server, Linux-RHEL 7,8,9 or other Linux distributions.
- Working knowledge of security best practices, access control and incident response fundamentals.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues and communicate effectively in a collaborative setting. Handle multiple tasks, translate technical info for non-technical users and documenting processes.
- Top Secret (TS) and active SCI Clearances with Poly within the last 5 years is required at the time of application., * Minimum of 9+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 7+ years of relevant experience with a Master's degree.

- Working and advanced knowledge of network protocols, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and static IP configuration, VLANs and network security. Access list and working firewall knowledge. Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose network issues related to computers and workstations and network switching.
- Intermediate understanding of computer networking (OS configuration, Network switches, Firewalls, CISCO IOS). Knowledge of various cable media such as CAT6 and fiber optic cable modes fiber optic transceivers and their various types.
- Ability to build, deploy, configure Windows 10, 11, Windows Server, Linux RHEL 7,8 or 9 or other Linux distributions as well as troubleshooting IT systems hardware (i.e. Windows/Linux workstations, servers, storage appliances, network switches).
- Working experience with NetApp storage appliances, VMWare vSphere and managing virtual clients, Active Directory administration, Security Center.

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off., Primary Level Salary Range: $114,000.00 - $171,000.00
Secondary Level Salary Range: $142,200.00 - $213,400.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
