We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Data Center Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing data center infrastructure to ensure seamless operations. Your expertise will support the deployment of cloud infrastructure, automation processes, and system administration tasks that drive efficiency and reliability. - Perform routine system troubleshooting to identify and resolve hardware or software issues quickly and effectively
- Automate deployment processes using scripting languages like Python or Bash, integrating CI/CD pipelines for continuous improvement
- Manage cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS and Azure, utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform to streamline provisioning
- Monitor system performance using IT monitoring tools to ensure optimal uptime and reliability of data center operations
- Support DevSecOps practices by implementing security measures within automation workflows and infrastructure management
- Collaborate with project teams to support system upgrades, migrations, and new deployments following Agile methodologies
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems with experience in system administration and troubleshooting
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash for automation purposes
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes orchestration platform and container management
- Familiarity with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and related services like APIs integration
- Understanding of DevOps automation principles, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure components including servers, networking gear, storage solutions, and performance monitoring tools
- Project management experience in technology environments with an emphasis on SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) processes
- Ability to work effectively within an Agile team environment while managing multiple priorities
