POSITION 1 - Duration: - 4 week (40 hrs) full time project supporting a specific client in MD (12320 Parklawn Dr. Rockville, MD 20852) then you would provide 60-day support period with our internal teams. Upon 90 days, based on performance, explore converting into a permanent resource, o Account access issues
o File shares / permissions
o Basic server health checks
Attend scheduled client appointments daily to provide end user support and to maintain, upgrade and manage client infrastructures.
May need on occasion to ad hoc, emergency support.
Maximize Monitoring Platform (CW-Automate) in monitoring endpoints
Complete recurring Preventative Maintenance Checklist (Evaluate networks to ensure networking devices and servers are up to date. Schedule downtime with clients on major upgrades.)
Ensure Network Infrastructure is secured, up to date, organized and documented.
Validate & Test Backup Solutions (File, Image, & Disaster Recovery)
Work with Operation teams in maintaining company technology standards
Provide excellent Customer Service & Support to End Users with IT Requests either onsite or remote
Responsible for keeping Documentation up to date
Work closely with the Dispatch team in meeting client's schedule expectations.
Requirements
4+ years of hands-on IT support experience - MSP or multi-client environment is required
ConnectWise
Comfortable operating as a primary onsite resource, interacting directly with end users and client stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot beyond standard SOPs and Tier 1 workflows
Outgoing, friendly, approachable personality with exceptional client-facing communication Business-savvy, reliable, and collaborative - this will work with the customer and onboard them then support them
Work with vendors on warranty issues
-hands-on experience supporting client networks
· Basic to intermediate configuration and troubleshooting of:
o Network topology (knowledge of networking and hardware)
o Firewalls (rule changes, VPN troubleshooting/familiarity, basic knowledge of NAT concepts)
o Switches (knowledge of managed switches, VLAN familiarity)
o Wireless Access Points (deployment and troubleshooting)
o TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP troubleshooting
o Site-to-site VPN and connectivity troubleshooting
Strong Requirement) - Comfortable troubleshooting user-impacting issues tied to server infrastructure, not just endpoints
· Desktop support capability:
o Hardware troubleshooting (PCs, laptops, docking stations, printers)
o OS/software issues (Windows, M365 apps, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive)
o Identity and access issues (passwords, MFA, login problems)
· Can handle most end-user issues independently onsite without frequent escalation
M365 / Cloud Administration (Required)
o Intune and Azure
o Basic day-to-day user admin tasks in M365 (mailbox access, licenses, resets)
o Troubleshooting common cloud-based issues (Teams, OneDrive sync, Outlook profiles)
o Backups (familiarity of how backups operate)
o NAS/SAN environments (nice to have)
o Basic server hardware or virtualization exposure (nice-to-have)
