Job description
This position assesses, designs, develops, integrates, and troubleshoots technology to support business processes. This role is responsible for leading data-driven initiatives and implementing advanced analytical solutions within the Nuclear IT division. This position is accountable for ensuring the reliability, performance, security, and continuity of IT systems and providing excellent technical support services., * Design, develop, and deploy data and analytics solutions to support nuclear operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and develop effective solutions.
- Implement data pipelines, data warehousing, and ETL processes to ensure high-quality and accessible data.
- Design and build foundational data pipelines for AI initiatives.
- Develop advanced analytical models and algorithms to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with industry regulations and standards.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry best practices.
- Provide level 3 support to current Power BI reports.
- Analyze, design, develop, test, debug, implement, and maintain new or existing systems.
- Lead projects and build a strong working understanding of the solution being delivered.
Requirements
Education: A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
Experience: 11-15 years of experience leading enterprise network projects, cybersecurity initiatives, and network optimization strategies. Experience with data management efforts such as data quality, data governance, retention, privacy, and data security is also required.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL. Expert knowledge of Oracle, Databricks, SQL-SQL, and PostgreSQL. Hands-on knowledge of Power BI Architect, AWS DMS, Microsoft Co-pilot, and Microsoft Studio.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with real-time and IoT data is a plus.
- Knowledge in Gen AI is a plus.
- Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence applications in the nuclear sector is a plus.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS and Google Cloud Platform) and their data services.
- Familiarity with Open Search and Neo4J.
