We have an exciting opportunity for a Principal Systems Engineer Integration and Test, supporting one of our premier programs within Raytheon, an RTX Business. In this role, you will work with a cross-disciplinary team of engineers who are leading the industry in ground systems solutions. Within Systems Integration and Test (SI&T), we integrate, verify, and validate our products by developing test strategies, executing integration activities, analyzing system performance, and ensuring mission-critical capabilities perform as intended. Your experience with software integration, automated testing, verification and validation, and customer engagement will be instrumental to program success.
What You Will Do
- Execute the program's test strategy, including test process development, baseline definition, test architecture design, verification, and validation
- Support full lifecycle integration and testing of real-time ground software systems, including software setup, test execution, regression analysis, and root cause resolution
- Collaborate across multi-vendor and multi-disciplinary teams to integrate and validate software releases from various upstream development teams
- Support customer-led mission test events and operational demonstrations
- Partner with Raytheon senior leadership, government customers, and technical subject matter experts to support system development and test execution
- Analyze system performance, identify technical issues, and drive solutions to closure
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and support continuous integration and delivery activities
- Work within a collaborative Agile program environment
Requirements
Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance, * Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience
- Experience as an Integration and/or Test Engineer supporting software development programs on government contracts
- Experience writing, executing, and integrating automated tests using automated test tools
- Experience developing scripts using Python, Perl, or similar scripting languages
- Experience supporting software verification and validation activities in a systems integration environment
- Active and transferable DoD TS U.S. government-issued security clearance is required prior to start date, with the ability to obtain special program access. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance., * Experience working in an Agile development environment and with Agile development tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)
- Experience with automated test frameworks such as Cucumber
- Experience developing and deploying software in cloud environments
- Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler
- Experience across the systems engineering lifecycle, including Concept of Operations (CONOPS) development, requirements management, functional analysis, interface definition and control, and verification and validation
Benefits & conditions
The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
